Sarah Blacker’s “Shiver” Heard in “Blessid”

We are proud to announce that local Massachusetts singer/songwriter Sarah Blacker will be heard in “Blessid.” Her original song “Shiver” will be played during the closing credits. Sarah is also nominated for Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in the New England Music Awards – please vote for her here.

Local singer-songwriter Sarah Blacker reports that her new single, “Shiver,” will be used in the indie movie “Blessid,” a drama about a pregnant woman who bonds with a man who happens to be immortal. The movie was filmed around Shrewsbury in 2012, and was directed by Rob Fitz, who’s worked in the makeup department on a long list of local films such as “Fever Pitch,” “Ted,” and the soon-to-be-released “Labor Day.”
